
Corsicana Tigers varsity defeat Terrell varsity in game one of the two-game series

On Monday, April 24, Corsicana Tigers Varsity faced Terrell in a very important game.

Brydan Hernandez took the mound on Monday and allowed zero runs. He only allowed one hit over five innings. He walked zero and struck out five. Hernandez was also a notable batter for the game. He doubled in the first inning scoring one run.


Blake Phillips, Easton Autrey and Blane Farmer were also notable batters for the Tigers on Monday. Along with Hernandez, they all contributed to runs in the second inning.

Corsicana totaled nine hits in the game. Adrian Baston and Hernandez both led Corsicana in hits for the evening. Baston totaled three hits in his four at bats. Corsicana stole a total of four bases during the game. Phillips led the team with two stolen bases.
The Tigers faces Terrell again last Friday in Terrell to determine who will be in the fight for a district title.
