The Corsicana City Council is scheduled to have a council meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, April 24 in the Council Chambers of the Government Center at 200 N. 12th Street.
The agenda for the Monday City Council meeting includes:
- Consider approving the Minutes for the City Council Regular Session of April 10, 2023.
- PUBLIC FORUM
- PUBLIC HEARINGS
a. Receive public input regarding requests for funding from non-profit community organizations for the 2024 fiscal year budget.
b. Receive public input regarding a request to close and abandon portions of SE CR 0010 and SE CR 0030. - ORDINANCES
Consider a request to close and abandon portions of SE CR 0010 and SE CR 0030. - RESOLUTIONS
a. Consider approving award of contract for the Fire Stations 1, 2, 3, and 4 Apparatus Floor Epoxy project.
b. Consider approving award of contract for the Fire Station 4 Foundation Repair project.
c. Consider accepting donation of an event trailer from the Humane Society of Navarro County for use by the Corsicana Animal Shelter.
d. Consider approving support of the passage of Legislation during the 88th Texas Legislature creating the West Lake Ranch Municipal Management District. (This item was tabled April 10, 2023.)
e. Consider approving to remove 1100 Mills Place as a Corsicana Historic Landmark Designation.
f. Consider supporting an application to the Texas Department of Transportation’s 2023 Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TA) call for projects for the development of preliminary engineering and construction of pedestrian and/or bicycle infrastructure.
g. Consider declaring certain property as surplus and authorizing the City Manager to execute sale, trade, donation, or disposal of said property. - APPOINTMENTS

Executive Session: The Council will recess into closed or executive session to receive attorney’s advice on legal matters pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, to deliberate on certain matters concerning real property pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code, and to discuss economic development negotiations pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code.
Return to Open Session: The Council will consider and act upon items discussed under Executive Session, as necessary.
