Over the past month, Corsicana Tigers Varsity Baseball has been on a huge win streak through district and non-district games. The win streak started with a 7-6 win at Crandall High School and is not continuing with wins against Red Oak, Kaufman, Ennis and Mabank.
Brydan Hernandez has been a star player for the Tigers through all of these games. Not only has he pitched multiple games allowing very few hits but he has also gotten multiple hits including multiple doubles, singles and even a home run against Ennis.
Hernandez is not the only pitcher that deserves credit for these games though. Ryan Ainsworth pitched multiple of these games, striking out multiple batters in each game. Ainsworth pitched the whole gamer versus Mabank and only allowed 3 hits. Isaiah Miranda is also another honorable mention in the bullpen for the Tigers. Miranda recorded many outs and saved the game for the Tigers during a few games as well. Blane Farmer also finished a game out for Miranda and allowed no hits.
Another star player that led the Tigers to defeat Ennis at home is Easton Autrey. Not only did he hit a home run, but he also led the Tigers in hits for the game.
Jace Richardson has also been a star player for the Tigers. Richardson has gotten multiple hits including multiple singles and doubles. He’s also been a great player in the outfield.
The Tigers currently have a record of 14-7 and are looking to finish the season out strong and continue their wins into postseason.
