From Staff Reports

Indian Trail Master Naturalists is an organization sponsored by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension services.  Their mission, among other things, is to bring educational and other activities to the public regarding ecology, wildlife, and plants.

From 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 18, the Indian Trail Master Naturalist is hosting the Midlothian annual Mayor’s Winter Walk at Mockingbird Nature Park, 1361 Onward Road in Midlothian. This is a free, one mile guided nature trail excursion with giveaways and post walk refreshments, including an egg carton bird feeder craft for the children.

Please register for the event at www.midlothian.tx.us/winterwalk. You can also follow us on Facebook at Indian Trail Chapter, Texas Master Naturalists.
