Aimee Kasprzyk returns to direct once again at the WLAC! Having directed their acclaimed shows The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and To Kill a Mockingbird, Aimee now sets her sights on Matilda with the talented help of Annot Walthall choreographing, Lora Plemons working on music and vocals, and Leigh White assisting.

ABOUT THE SHOW

If you are unfamiliar with the story of Matilda, Matilda is a little girl with wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers. She’s unloved by her parents but bonds with her schoolteacher, Miss Honey. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, as the school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. Families will be spellbound by this magical hit Broadway musical inspired by the Rohld Dahl book which inspired the classic 90’s movie.
