The “Ducky’s Pet Food Friday,” program, a monthly food distribution service provided by the Humane Society of Navarro County, is changing its time and location.

The event will now take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the first Friday of every month in the parking lot of Fullerton-Garitty Park, located at 3201 McKnight Lane in Corsicana. The new location is courtesy of Sharla Allen and the Corsicana Parks & Recreation Department.

The program aims at providing supplemental meals to pet owners in need in Navarro County, routinely helping over 30-plus families and 100-plus dogs and cats every month.

The next pet food distribution takes place Friday, July 1.
