This week, the James Blair Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution honored the over 500 veterans that resided in the Corsicana State Home.


The historic marker was restored by the DAR, and a wreath was laid by the Scouts. A ceremony was conducted by Barbara Watkins, regent which included remarks by the Mayor Don Denbow, retired Naval Captain Joe Hill, and Lynn Taylor who is responsible for the Memorial.
