From Staff Reports

There will be a road closure on Beaton Street between Second Avenue and Third Avenue on Saturday, May 28 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the Corsicana Artist and Writer Residency’s Ten Year Celebration.

The celebration is open to the public and if you would like to attend the event, you can RSVP here:

What a wonderful accolade to celebrate not just for our downtown but for our whole community. We have been fortunate enough to see the residency receive state, national and international recognition for the esteemed work being produced within the walls of 100 West… and beyond. Just recently, the residency was featured (again) in the Dallas Morning News, reflecting on an article first published when Kyle Hobratschk, artist and founder of 100W, opened his doors.
