By Ducky Abay – Special to the Navarro County Gazette

“Hello friends!

I am about to emBARK on a seaside vacation for a few days, but before I left I wanted to make sure you met my pal, Cinnamon! Mom says she is so very sweet and has beautiful, big eyes. She deserves a loving home and you may be her purrfect match!

I can’t wait until Derrick Days next weekend. I hear there will be some super CUTE dogs available for adoption!!

xx- Ducky

Cinnamon is a precious, sweet cat that was found on someone’s property and taken to the shelter. She came in with one other cat, so she is good around other feline friends. She will do good in a home with kids 10 and older. She is a little bit shy, but so very sweet and deserves a loving, forever home!

She is scheduled to be spayed and she will need about a week to recover before going to her new home, but adoption applications are being taken now. She is already microchipped, vaccinated and litterbox trained.

Where to meet Cinnamon:

Adoptable from the Corsicana Animal Shelter
617 S. 12th St.
Corsicana, TX 75110
Open Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday: 12pm-6pmSaturday: 12pm-4pm

  • Due to Covid-19 you must wear a mask while inside the building and the shelter is only handling one client at a time
  • How to adopt? There is a $55 adoption fee for each animal and you must complete an approved adoption application.
