From Staff Reports

Corsicana’s Middle School choir program keeps hitting all the right notes, as the Non-Varsity Treble Choir scored its second consecutive Superior Rating recently in China Spring.

At the annual UIL Concert/Sight-Reading Evaluation event, that unit earned the highest rating from all judges in the sight-reading category.

“This is the first time that Corsicana Middle School has brought three choirs to UIL, and the second year in a row that the Non-Varsity Treble Choir has earned a superior award for sight-reading under the direction of Ms. (Alexandra) Martinez,” Corsicana High School Choir Director Chris Wheelock said.
