Republic Services trash pickup for the greater Corsicana area has been delayed due to this week’s snowstorm.

In a message from Corsicana Main Street Director Amy Tidwell:

“In anticipation of the bad weather, Republic Services is suspending service for Thursday. They do anticipate a late start on Friday, but that can change according to the conditions.

This means that your normal trash day (Friday), will be moved to Saturday. Because they will be doing pick ups on Saturday, the recycling center will be closed that day.

I will continue to keep you updated as I am given further information.”

The Navarro County Gazette will continue to update this story as new developments occur.
