“Happy February! Aren’t you glad that we are finally past January? I mean…it felt like we were on January 74th some days. But this arctic cold is NOT my friend. I already love to nap, but this cold makes me want to stay in bed ALL DAY LONG! TikTok, Netflix and lots of snacks will be my plan.
Remember to keep your pets safe and WARM! My mom wrote an article about helping the wildlife stay warm last year during Snowmaggedon which you can read RIGHT HERE. Also, this week is the First Friday of February which means we will giving out free dog and cat food at the Humane Society of Navarro County’s office from 11am-1pm on Friday. We do run out, so please get there as close to 11 as possible. For more information on my Pet Food Friday program, check out the link below.

Now, it’s time to meet my smart friend, Midas! He is adoptable at the Corsicana Animal Shelter!“
xx- Ducky

Midas was found as a stray and taken to the shelter where he was left unclaimed. Midas knows several commands and will do almost anything for a treat! He loves attention, is great at walking on a leash, and is learning to be housebroken. He is heartworm positive, but that does not take any pep away from this handsome German Shepherd.
