PRESS RELEASE: The Corsicana Artist and Writer Residency presents their February calendar events for the winter 2022 season.
February 2022 events include:
What: “After Hours,” featuring artist-in-residence Linus Lohmann
When: 6 p.m to 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 24
Where: Storefront, located at 203 N. Commerce Street in Downtown Corsicana
Storefront Bookstore, the public space of the Corsicana Artist and Writer Residency, hosts “After Hours,” a free to the public event featuring artist-in-residence Linus Lohmann from Seydisfjördur, Iceland.
In a one-hour event, Lohnmann will discuss his printmaking, drawing, and sculpture work produced while at 100W.
What: Open Studios at 100W
When: 12 p.m to 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26
Where: 100W, located at 100 W. Third Avenue in Downtown Corsicana
The Open Studios program features work created in the residency this winter by artists Linus Lohmann from Seydisfjördur, Iceland, and Olivia DiVecchi from Brooklyn, New York, along with Los Angeles-based Pete Ohs, a four-time Emmy Award winning filmmaker.
