Hi friends!
Can you believe that next week is Christmas? Wow! And what better way to celebrate the Holidays than to adopt a forever friend? There are so many pets in need of homes at our local Corsicana Animal Shelter and they are all WONDERFUL!
In fact, I have some exciting news! We adopted a cat from the Corsicana Animal Shelter right after Thanksgiving! My mom went and adopted Binx, a 5 month old black kitten that had come in as part of a stray litter. Now, he goes by Bug and is a total LOVE BUG!
I have really enjoyed my feline siblings (we also recently adopted Lenore, a calico cat from another rescue back in October). They are very entertaining to watch and have been very nice and respectful of me and my space and feelings. Bug is the most loving little cat and when we adopted him he had already been neutered, microchipped, litterbox trained, and current on all shots and FIV/FELV testing. Plus, the shelter staffers knew what we were looking for and matched us with the perfect fit! If you are looking to add to your brood, be sure to let the shelter staffers know your needs and expectations. They know these pets better than anyone and can lead you in the right direction on which cat or dog will fit in tbest with your home.
Below the info about my friend Argo you can find some photos of our canine/feline family. We are thankful that Bug and Lenore are getting to celebrate the holidays at our home and it is all because caring shelter staffers watched over them and cared for them until the right home was found!
ALSO! The Humane Society of Navarro County has 2022 calendars available now for only $5! 100% of the proceeds benefit their Spay/Neuter program. The calendar features selected photos submitted to their facebook page and boy is it CUTE!!
