“HAPPY (almost) HALLOWEEN!! In case you haven’t been following me, we are deep into my 13 days of Halloween on my Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok pages (all are @duckysdoings). During the 13 days of Halloween I post a new outrageous costume that we have conjured up. It is my FAVORITE time of year!
And thanks to the Gazette, you can see awesome photos of our front yard decor by checking out this article: https://navarrocountygazette.com/2021/10/20/photos-halloween-in-corsicana-week-3-2021/
I hope you all have a safe, wonderful, whimsical and of course scary Halloween! There are so many fun things happening around town, so be sure to check out the Gazette’s recent posts to make sure you don’t miss a single one!
Now, on to my friend Houdini! What a handsome guy this is! He may know how to open his own kennel door, but that just means he is trying to escape to YOUR HEART! Check him out below. (Also, my mom would kindly suggest reading the book “The Secret Life of Houdini: Making of America’s First Superhero” by William Kalush and Larry Sloman. It is SO fascinating!)
Til next week!“

Houdini is full of personality! He was found as a stray and left unclaimed. Now he is vaccinated, microchipped and ready for his forever home. He loves to play and can be a little rough so an indoor home with kids 12 and older would be best. He gets his name from his smooth escape artist skills. The shelter staff has found that he can use his paws to unhook his kennel door, so they have to use a clip to keep it locked. But Houdini is just trying to escape the title of “stray” and find his forever home!
