The Friends of the Corsicana Public Library will host their 2021 Book Sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, located in the Nancy Robert’s Room at the Corsicana Public Library, 100 N. Twelfth Street.

There will be a varied selection of books, from large print to audiobooks, in addition to other goodies.

The Friends of the Corsicana Public Library are a non-profit group that supports the library in a variety of ways, its membership made up of volunteers. These supporters also run The Next Chapter bookstore, located off the library’s lobby.

All funds raised by Friends activities go directly back to the library in the form of programming support, from helping the library hire fun performers for summer events, giving reading incentives for library kids during the summer, and purchasing supplies for events throughout the year.

This will be a COVID-19 conscious event, and the number of room occupants will be limited. Only cash or checks will be accepted. Call 903-654-4810 for further details.
