
Mystery thriller available for pre-order on streaming service

Locals may remember the film shoot that took place in in January of 2020 for the Niki Koss directed film Night Night. Having completed its production, the film will premiere on Apple TV Tuesday Nov. 16, and is available for pre-sale now.
The film’s synopsis, from the website: “April Davis awakens from a coma to discover she was in a terrible automobile accident. Struggling through recovery, she turns to alcohol and pain pills to help cope with her actions and events that haunt her day and night.”
The film is the directorial debut for Koss, best known for co-starring on the Freeform series Famous in Love. The Los Angeles based actress has kept an active presence in the community with 2018’s Warning Shot, and premiered her indie comedy Burying Yasmeen at Schulman’s Movie Bowl Grill in 2019.
Haing been shot in and around Corsicana and Fairfield, the drama film also has several local creative connections. Chief of Police Robert Johnson wrote and produced the film, with Amber McNutt having served as Executive Producer, and Ashley Nicole Allen as the Production Designer.
The film stars Brenna D’Amico as April Davis, along with Tony Todd, Eric Roberts, Brooke Anne Smith, Deric Augustine, Adam Budron, Matty Cardarpole, Taylor Gray, Nick Marini, Brooke Anne Smith, Lawrence Varnado, and Neels Visser.
