Navarro County AgriLife Extension Service Hosts Estate Planning Seminar in November

Navarro County AgriLife Extension Service is hosting a estate planning seminar 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9 at the Navarro County Youth Expo, located at 4021 State Hwy 22.

Registration for the event is $10, and the RSVP deadline is Monday, Nov. 8, though the Navarro County Extension office has recommended by Friday, Nov. 5 by emailing Andrew.lewis@ag.tamu.edu.

Topics for the event include: Estate planning overview, What happens without a will, Documents you should consider, Brief overview of estate tax, Setting up a trust, Insurance and estate planning, and more.

The speakers will include Dr. Jason Johnson, Associate Professor and Extension Economist, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, representatives from the Navarro County Farm Bureau, and Community National Bank.
