It’s almost that time of year again where kids of all ages have the opportunity to dress up in costume, and candy flows into goodie bags like a mighty waterfall. As part of Corsicana tradition, “Boo On the Block” returns for the 2021 Halloween Season from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, located between Fifth Street and Collin Avenue in Downtown Corsicana.
Little ghosts and goblins can pose for pictures in the Pocket Park, and enjoy a Haunted Hayride through downtown alleys. Main Street will serve as this year’s “Boo Headquarters,” where trick-or-treaters will pick up “Boo Maps” on Beaton Street. The map will spotlight all the participating business locations (highlighted with balloons) offering Halloween treats.
Kids will also be given a stamper at these locations to stamp special cards provided to them. Once these cards are completed, intrepid candy hunters can return to Boo Headquarters for prizes.
The downtown “Boo on the Block” event is in partnership with Corsicana Parks and Recreation.
