The description of the suspect was placed on Facebook by a citizen. CPD Dispatch received a tip stating that there was a Facebook post of the B/M involved in the robbery, and gave officers and detectives information that helped them identify the suspect.

The suspect was identified as Octavious Brown, 29-year-old B/M. A warrant was obtained on Brown for aggravated robbery. Brown is considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Brown please contact Detective Whitney Hawk at 903-654-4914. If you see the suspect, please do not approach him and call 911 immediately.
