The 17th Annual Kerens Cotton Harvest festival opens to the public Saturday, Oct. 16.
The event starts with a 7 a.m. pancake breakfast, and features several events throughout the day, including a 10 a.m. Coyote Squadron Flyover, and free music on stage from Byron Haynie, Ira Bradford & Bustin’ Loose, and Wesley Pruitt.
Other events during the festival include a carnival, food and craft vendors, children’s activities, classic car and tractor shows, a quilt show and a raffle.
The carnival opens to the public at 10 a.m., and tickets are required. $20 Wristbands are available 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14 and Friday, Oct. 15.
