The Second Annual Breakfast of Champions event benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Navarro County will take place 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27 at the Cook Education Center, located on the Navarro College campus at 3100 W Collin St. in Corsicana. Tickets and table sponsorships are available at bgcdallas.org/event/breakfastofchamps.

Whoa Dill, Corsicana High School graduate of 1995, and head football coach at NC is the special guest speaker. Very special guests will be Boys & Girls Club of Navarro County members who will be introduced by Kamar Chambers, and seated with community members for breakfast. 

The education-based event encourages the Club members to score big in the classroom for the academic school year.

“It’s a time to celebrate our youth and motivate them for the upcoming school year, ” said Barbara Kelley, Chairman of the event and member of the NCBGC Advisory Council.

Individual tickets are $40.

Sponsored tables for 8:

  • $5000.00 – World Series Champion
  • $3,000.00 – MVP
  • $1,000.00 – Cy Young
  • $500 – Rookie
