The Navarro College Music Department will present “Dvořák in the Park,” a free public concert at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 30 at Fullerton-Garrity Park Amphitheater, located at 3201 McKnight Lane.

The concert will focus on a selection of music from Czech composer, Antonín Dvořák, a worldwide recognized Bohemian composer who was notable for turning local folk material into 19th century Romantic music. One of his most recognized musical compositions is Symphony No.9 ‘From the New World’.
