by John F. Kaiser III – Navarro County Gazette

The Navarro Council of the Arts will be hosting the Outdoor Painters Society “PAINT OUT” event Friday, April 16, and Saturday, April 17. Professional artists from across the country will set up their easels around town and paint aspects of Corsicana then offer their works up for sale.

On Saturday, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., you can meet the artists, purchase the Corsicana themed art, and participate in the “People’s Choice Award” at the Warehouse Living Arts Center Gallery located at 119 W. 6th Avenue in downtown Corsicana.

If you have a love of our town, an admiration for art, and are curious to see how others view this city, you will not want to miss this event. Which parts of the town will they paint? Only one way to find out!
