Press Release: TEXAS FIRE CHIEFS ASSOCIATION NAMES ANNUAL AWARD WINNERS

Presentation to be made at Annual Conference, April 6th, 2021

Dateline: College Station, Texas, March 31— The Texas Fire Chiefs Association is proud to announce the recognition of outstanding performance within the Texas Fire Service.

Fire Chief of the Year               Paul Henley, Corsicana Fire Rescue

Valor Award                              Dustin Short, Granite Shoals Fire Rescue

Lonestar Achievement              Ron Moellenberg, Pflugerville Fire Department

President Award                       Candice Parker, Buda Fire Department

                                                 Kimberly Cisneros, San Marcos Fire Department

Fire Safety Award                     Louis Gonzales, San Marcos Fire Department

These awards will be presented at the Texas Fire Chiefs Association Annual Conference on April 6, 2021 in College Station, Texas.

The Texas Fire Chiefs Association strives to be the liaison between the Texas Fire Service leadership and the legislative members of the State of Texas, attempting to further strengthen and logically apply proposed and current regulations which actively enhance the safety of the citizens of the State of Texas while protecting the career and volunteer firefighters throughout the State.
