The Pearce Museum is hosting a closing reception from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 24 for their Texas Invitational Art Show 2021. The museum is located on the Navarro College campus at 3100 W Collin St. in Corsicana.

The art show originally premiered Feb. 11, and will run through March 27. The gallery is open to public viewing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Numerous Texas-based artists from have displayed their work at the show: David Godfrey, George Ann Johnson, Karla Massingill, Deb Miller, Jack Moss, Margie Taylor, and several others. For interested art collectors, some of the displayed pieces are on sale.

Additionally, a lecture will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 27th, featuring David Loughridge and Carroll Sigman. The speakers will discuss the extensive research and history of the Loughridge Family exhibit currently featured in the Pearce Museum’s Civil War Gallery.
