The Navarro County Genealogical Society is hosting their quarterly meeting 10 a.m., Saturday, March 13, at the Emanuel Baptist Church, located at 2217 W. Seventh Avenue.

This meeting’s subject covers the lives of Civil War generals Ulysses S. Grant and Robert E. Lee. During the meeting, society members Carroll Sigman and Bob O’Toole will portray the two commanders, sharing biographical details about their lives while performing in costume.

Meetings usually run about an hour, starting with society business and concluding with the featured historical program.

The meeting is open to the public, who are welcome to attend the meeting. Masks will be worn during the meeting and social distancing will be practiced.
