Blooming Grove ISD Closes Early Due to COVID-19

Classes close until Jan 6

Due to the increase in positive COVID-19 cases in the district, the Blooming Grove Independent School District is ending instruction for the semester effective today, Dec. 15.

According to a statement issued on the BGISD Facebook page by Superintendent Rick Hartley, all schools in the area are closed for the rest of this week. Additionally, the high school boys basketball games scheduled for Dec. 15 and Dec. 28 have been canceled. The Dec. 18 and Dec. 22 games have also been postponed.

Blooming Grove classes will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 6.
