
Family letters enhance museum experience

The Pearce Museum held an opening reception for the Loughridge Family Civil War Experience Thursday night, honoring David Loughridge and the donation of several Civil War-era letters from his family.
Speakers during the opening reception were Pearce Museum Director Ann Zembala, District President Dr. Kevin Fegan; District President, and Pearce Museum Docent Carroll Sigman.
A video presentation, courtesy of Pearce Museum Curator Christina Lucas, featured Loughridge sharing the background history of the donated letters.
The Pearce Museum acknowledged the following Navarro College staff members for their assistance with this project: Cody Dickerson and Jonathan Seaton (Production of Interview Video), Jessica Kindon, Robert O’Toole, Nathan Wilkes, and Martina Johnson.
