After a brief seasonal hiatus, the Corsicana Palace Theatre gets ready to kick off its 2020-2021 season premiere with prolific American singer and songwriter, Robert Earl Keen. The artist performs at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7 at Community National Bank and Trust Tiger Stadium.
As of September, the Americana songwriter has been getting back into live shows starting with two back to back performances at Floore’s Country Store in Helotes, before making his stadium debut in Corsicana.
Keen’s signature song “The Road Goes On Forever,” is a succinct summary of the artist’s career and lifelong ambitions, but also conveys the excitement of him and his band getting back on the road for all-new performances this year.
Now three decades on from the release of his debut album, No Kinda Dancer, nineteen records to his name, and thousands of shows under his belt, there is still no end in sight to the road ahead. Keen remains as committed to and inspired by his muse as ever.
This concert will follow all the safety guidelines and social distancing will be strictly enforced. This one night only concert will begin at 7:30 pm on Tiger Field.
Tickets range from $35 to $50 and are available on the Palace website. Tickets for this event go on sale 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28 on the Palace Theatre’s website: www.corsicanapalace.com.
